Wow. Just… wow. Take a look at that Premier League table. Go on, I’ll wait.
We’re heading into the first weekend of November, and Bournemouth are SECOND. Read that again. Arsenal are top, which feels normal, but the Cherries are ahead of Spurs, Man City, and Liverpool. Newly-promoted Sunderland are in the top four. This 2025/26 season is already shaping up to be one of the most bonkers, unpredictable rides we’ve ever been on, and I am so here for it.
Welcome to your ultimate hub for Premier League predictions and Premier League match analysis for this weekend (November 1st & 2nd, 2025). We’ve got a massive London derby, a bizarre 5th vs. 2nd clash, and some absolute desperation-derbies at the bottom.
My gut is bubbling, the kettle is on, and I’ve got my notebook full of stats, form guides, and that little bit of fan intuition. Let’s get stuck into the football score predictions today and tomorrow’s Premier League fixtures.
The Saturday 3pm Mayhem: Quickfire Predictions
We’ve got a slew of 3pm (GMT) kick-offs, and plenty of them have massive implications at both ends of the table. Here’s a rapid-fire breakdown.
Burnley vs. Arsenal Preview
- The Vibe: The league leaders travel to a Burnley side that’s finally found its feet, winning their last two. But Arsenal are 1st for a reason. They’ve been relentless.
- Key Stats:
- Arsenal: 1st place (22 pts)
- Burnley: 16th place (10 pts)
- Tidbit: The Gunners are grinding out wins, and reports say Eberechi Eze (what a signing that was!) is pulling the strings and lethal from set-pieces. Burnley will be organised, but this is a huge test.
- Analysis: Look, I love an underdog story, but Arsenal just look too strong. Burnley’s recent wins were against fellow strugglers. This is a different beast. Mikel Arteta’s side are top of the table and will be determined to stay there. It won’t be a 5-0 thrashing like in the old days, but it should be a professional win.
- Predicted Score: Burnley 0-2 Arsenal
Crystal Palace vs. Brentford Preview
- The Vibe: A proper mid-table tussle between two London rivals. Palace (10th) are on a frustrating four-game winless run, while Brentford (11th) have found their groove, winning four of their last five.
- Key Stats:
- H2H Gold: This is the big one. Both teams have scored in each of their last six meetings.
- Form: Palace (D-L-D-L) vs. Brentford (W-L-W-W-W)
- Analysis: This one screams “goals.” Palace are desperate to snap their slide, and Brentford are flying. Given the head-to-head record, I’d be stunned if this was a 0-0. Brentford seem to have the upper hand on form, but Selhurst Park is a tough place to go. This feels like the classic “entertaining draw” that neutrals love.
- Predicted Score: Crystal Palace 2-2 Brentford
Fulham vs. Wolves Preview
- The Vibe: Oh, the misery. This is the “El Sack-ico” of the weekend, a massive relegation six-pointer. Fulham (17th) have lost four in a row. Wolves (20th) are rock bottom with just 2 points and are winless in nine.
- Key Stats:
- Fulham: 17th place (8 pts)
- Wolves: 20th place (2 pts)
- Form: Fulham (L-L-L-L) vs. Wolves (L-D-L-L-D)
- Analysis: This will not be one for the purists. This is going to be a tense, scrappy, horrible-to-watch dogfight. A loss for either side is catastrophic. Fulham are at home, which gives them a slight edge, but their confidence is shot. Wolves are just… dreadful. I honestly can’t see many goals here, just a lot of yellow cards and desperation. The only winner here is fear.
- Predicted Score: Fulham 1-1 Wolves
Nottingham Forest vs. Manchester United Preview
- The Vibe: United (6th) are hovering, as always, between “they’re back!” and “total crisis.” Forest (18th) are in the drop zone and have already panicked, bringing in… Sean Dyche?! What a weird fit.
- Key Stats:
- Forest: 18th place (5 pts)
- Man Utd: 6th place (16 pts)
- The Dyche Factor: This will be Dyche’s first home game. You know he will have the City Ground rocking and his team will be drilled to be compact, physical, and horrible to play against.
- Analysis: This is a classic “banana skin” for United. They have the superior talent, no question. But a “new manager bounce” combined with the Dyche-ball setup is a recipe for an ugly, frustrating afternoon for the visitors. I still think United’s individual quality will just about see them through, probably from a moment of magic or a defensive error, but it’ll be a grind.
- Predicted Score: Nottingham Forest 0-1 Manchester United
Brighton vs. Leeds United Preview
- The Vibe: Two teams who play good football but find themselves in the bottom half (Brighton 13th, Leeds 15th). Brighton, however, are a different animal at the AMEX.
- Key Stats:
- Brighton: Unbeaten at home this season.
- Leeds: Have struggled for consistency, blowing hot and cold.
- Analysis: This should be an open game. Both teams like to attack, but Brighton’s home form is the deciding factor for me. They’ve already downed some big teams on the south coast. Leeds will make a game of it, but I see the Seagulls taking all three points.
- Predicted Score: Brighton 2-1 Leeds
The Main Event: Tottenham vs. Chelsea Preview (Saturday 5:30pm)
This is it. The big one. A massive [Tottenham vs Chelsea] preview for you. This rivalry is always spicy, but this season it has so many extra layers.
- The Narrative: You’ve got Thomas Frank, poached from Brentford, in the Spurs dugout. You’ve got Enzo Maresca trying to implement his style at Chelsea. You’ve got Spurs sitting 3rd and Chelsea languishing in 9th. But in a derby? Throw the form book out the window.
- Team News & Key Factors:
- Spurs: The big, massive, colossal news: CRISTIAN ROMERO IS BACK! He’s available for selection, and that is huge for their backline. Vicario will also return in goal. They are still missing key attackers like Maddison and Kulusevski, but that defensive boost is a game-changer.
- Chelsea: Maresca has been “protecting” Enzo Fernandez and Moises Caicedo, but they are both available, which is a big boost. However, Cole Palmer and Benoit Badiashile are still out long-term, and Palmer, in particular, has been their one creative spark.
- In-Depth Analysis:I’ve got a feeling about this one. Chelsea have looked immature, ill-disciplined, and toothless without Palmer. Spurs, under Frank, have shown a new kind of grit we haven’t seen from them in years. They are 3rd on merit.Yes, Chelsea won in the cup midweek, but this is the Premier League. At the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. With Romero back to wind everyone up and make those crunching tackles. Chelsea’s midfield is great on paper, but Spurs’ new-look engine room with Palhinha and Bentancur (if they start) is built for a war. I think Spurs will be more organized, more passionate, and, with the home crowd behind them, just want it more. It’s going to be chaos. It’s going to be fiery. There will be at least 7 yellow cards. And I think Spurs will edge it.
- Predicted Score: Tottenham 2-1 Chelsea
Saturday Night Football: Liverpool vs. Aston Villa Preview (8:00pm)
- The Vibe: A proper floodlit clash at Anfield between two teams who should be in the European hunt. 7th vs. 8th. This has “classic” written all over it.
- Key Stats:
- Liverpool: 7th place (15 pts)
- Aston Villa: 8th place (15 pts)
- Form: Liverpool hit a 5-match winning streak in October, so they’re clearly clicking. Villa are, as ever, well-drilled and dangerous.
- Analysis:This is a tough one to call. Both teams are level on points. Liverpool’s attack can blow anyone away, but their defence has looked a bit shaky. Villa are the opposite—solid, structured, and dangerous on the counter. I remember when Villa pumped them 7-2… a different time, I know, but you never forget! At Anfield, under the lights, you just have to back Liverpool. They seem to have found their rhythm, and the home crowd will be demanding a big performance to get them back into that top-4 mix. It’ll be tight, but Liverpool’s firepower should be the difference.
- Predicted Score: Liverpool 3-1 Aston Villa
Sunday’s Premier League Fixtures
Just when you thought you could catch your breath… Sunday rolls around with two massive games.
West Ham vs. Newcastle United Preview (2:00pm)
- The Vibe: Utter, sheer desperation at the London Stadium. West Ham are 19th. Nineteenth! They have one win all season. The pressure is immense. Newcastle (12th) are having a ‘meh’ season themselves, but their big problem is clear…
- Key Stats:
- West Ham: 19th place (4 pts)
- Newcastle: 12th place (12 pts)
- The Achilles’ Heel: Newcastle have not won a single away game this season.
- Analysis:This is a “something’s gotta give” match. West Ham are in total freefall. Newcastle are dreadful on the road. This is the perfect opportunity for Eddie Howe’s men to finally get that monkey off their back. West Ham’s confidence is on the floor, and the home crowd will turn toxic if they go a goal down. I’m backing the Magpies to finally get it done and pile the misery on the Hammers.
- Predicted Score: West Ham 0-2 Newcastle
Manchester City vs. Bournemouth Preview (4:30pm)
- The Vibe: This is the one. The game everyone is talking about. 5th-place Manchester City vs. 2nd-place Bournemouth. It’s not a typo. This is real life.
- Key Stats:
- Man City: 5th place (16 pts), already 3 losses this season.
- Bournemouth: 2nd place (18 pts), on a stunning 8-match unbeaten run.
- The Goal-Machine: Erling Haaland already has 11 goals and is “better than ever.”
- In-Depth Analysis:This is fascinating. Pep Guardiola has been full of praise for Andoni Iraola, and you can see why. What Iraola has done with this Cherries squad is nothing short of miraculous. They are fearless, organized, and playing with total belief….But this is City. At the Etihad.City will be furious about being 5th. They will see this game, against the high-flying, “media-darling” Bournemouth, as the perfect “statement” match to remind everyone who they are. Haaland is a monster. De Bruyne is pulling the strings. This will be Bournemouth’s absolute-zero, final-boss-level test.I think Bournemouth’s fairytale run hits a blue brick wall. I do think they’ll score—they’re that good. But City are wounded, and a wounded City is the most dangerous thing in football.
- Predicted Score: Manchester City 4-1 Bournemouth
Over to You!
Phew! What a weekend of Premier League match analysis. This season is proving to be an absolute rollercoaster, and this weekend is going to separate the contenders from the pretenders (and the truly desperate from the slightly-less-desperate).
But that’s just my take. Football is all about opinions. What are YOUR predictions?
- Will Chelsea pull off an upset at Spurs?
- Can Bournemouth really do the impossible at the Etihad?
- Which manager is in most trouble at the bottom?
